
McKenna Sanford is an aspiring actress (often traveling to NYC, Chicago and Seattle for auditions) currently pursuing a BM in Vocal Performance (Musical Theatre and Classical emphasis) at the University of Central Missouri, graduating in the Spring of 2026.
Originally from Seattle, McKenna has performed for 15 years, garnering critical acclaim and professional experience. While living in the Pacific Northwest, she has trained and worked at several notable theaters including: The 5th Avenue Theater, Village Theater and Seattle Children’s Theater. For her performances, McKenna was nominated for the Seattle Broadway World Awards (August: Osage County, Peter and the Starcatcher, Newsies) and for the 2024 Irene Ryan award (Little Women).
Most recently, McKenna not only made her professional debut in The Sound of Music at The Lyric Opera of Kansas City as Leisl, directed by Broadway’s Francesca Zambello, she also made her NYC debut as a Top 10 finalist (in the nation!) for BroadwayCon’s Star-To-Be competition.
